Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor (2nd Shift – 6 pm – 6 am continental shifts) will oversee maintenance operations within our food manufacturing plant. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, team management skills, and a commitment to equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency.

Core Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead maintenance technicians in preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on production equipment and machinery.
• Collaborate with production and other departments to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production processes.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Train and develop maintenance staff, fostering continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
• Work with procurement to source and purchase necessary spare parts and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Maintenance Lead/Supervisor experience.
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with vendors, including setting up and managing in-plant relationships.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with CMMS preferred.
• ERP experience (SAP or similar) preferred.
• Project management skills are a plus.
• Strong safety awareness and personal safety experience.
• Excellent leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
