Job summary

Continental Realty Corporation in Summerville, SC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Elevate at Brighton Park apartments to oversee service maintenance for a 329-unit community. This role requires hands-on leadership and a focus on timely, quality repairs.

You will lead maintenance staff, plan tasks, troubleshoot issues, manage work orders, and ensure CRC standards while delivering excellent resident service and maintaining curb appeal.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of management experience preferred.
• EPA certification required; CPO preferred (willing to obtain quickly).
• Able to troubleshoot HVAC, appliance, carpentry, plumbing and electrical issues.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills; good communication.
• Must be customer-service focused; available for on-call rotation.
• Valid driver’s license and own tools; vehicle provided for on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and plan service maintenance tasks; schedule and order supplies.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues; escalate to contractors when needed.
• Ensure quality through attention to detail and follow-up.
• Maintain curb appeal to CRC standards.

Position: Maintenance Supervisor for Elevate at Brighton Park apartments - Summerville, SC

As a Service Manager/Maintenance Supervisor for this community, you will help maintain the physical integrity of this beautiful apartment community with 329 apartment-homes. We own and operate the property, purchased it earlier this year.

Competitive pay + $750.00 per month rent discount for live-on (if desired) + quarterly team bonus + Health/Dental/Vision/401k matching + on-call appreciation bonus

Most Important Responsibilities

• Demonstrate important leadership qualities and take initiative to help plan and execute service maintenance activities on the property, i.e. scheduling tasks and ordering supplies.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot maintenance concerns, seek contractor assistance only when necessary and communicate action plan to your team and the residents.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up to ensure quality of final work product.
• Maintain curb appeal to CRC standard.
• Must exhibit a high level of customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to manage work order reports, scheduling of turn related tasks and working hand in hand with the office to manage communications with residents when necessary.
• Work closely with the Community Manager to communicate the mechanical/technical aspects of the community and make good decisions best suited for the resident and community.
• Train and develop service team members.
• Manage all expenses to stay within the budget.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure they are upholding our standards.

Most Important Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of management experience preferred.
• EPA required and CPO preferred (must be willing to get it quickly).
• Technical skills should include the ability to troubleshoot/repair/maintain HVAC components, appliance repair, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and all general CRC maintenance requirements.
• Ability to assess and address problems quickly, good organization skills and strong follow up.
• Must be a go-getter with strong communication and customer service skills.
• Vehicle, driver's license, tools, participate in the on-call rotation.
