Job Description

This position is responsible for all aspects of building maintenance, repairs, and improvements. The Manager researches and hires contractors as needed to complete tasks that may arise.

• Ensures maintenance staff begins work on time and is briefed on priorities and assignments.
• Responsible for opening/closing procedures (e.g., doors un/locked, machines and lights on/off).
• Standardizes routine preventative maintenance programs related to individual production assets and assigns maintenance staff to perform routine duties.
• Assists staff in correcting issues requiring follow-up.
• Completes all maintenance staff performance reviews in a timely manner.
• Sources ways to simplify tasks for maintenance; recommends changes and implements as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and welding tools.
• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers, solid state motor drives, overhead traveling cranes, and hydraulic circuits.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, with an aptitude for MIS systems and technologies.
• Skilled in precise math and the use of precision instruments.
• Ability to organize and multitask.
• Knowledge of ISO14001 Environmental Management systems, MP2, and 5S.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• 10+ years of related experience.
