Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Craft apprenticeship or equivalent combination of education and maintenance experience.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial maintenance skills required.
  • PLC and HVAC experience preferred.
  • Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred but not required.
  • Boiler experience or Quick Recovery Flat Flame Furnace experience preferred but not required.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in written and verbal communication required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead maintenance processes and operations.
  • Track maintenance expenses and assist with oversight of the maintenance budget.
  • Plan and manage repair, installation, and preventive maintenance activities for EZ Loader equipment and facilities.
  • Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
  • Document work performed and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
  • Oversee equipment stock and place orders for supplies when necessary.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machines and facility equipment.
  • Create and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production periods and scheduled maintenance repairs during downtime.
  • Perform mechanic duties including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair work.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to complete required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test equipment, and make adjustments.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing and performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production facility equipment. This role plans repair activities, develops maintenance procedures, supports preventive and predictive maintenance practices, and helps ensure facility equipment and processes support EZ Loader’s business goals and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead maintenance processes and operations.
  • Track maintenance expenses and assist with oversight of the maintenance budget.
  • Plan and manage repair, installation, and preventive maintenance activities for EZ Loader equipment and facilities.
  • Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
  • Document work performed and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
  • Oversee equipment stock and place orders for supplies when necessary.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machines and facility equipment.
  • Create and follow preventive maintenance schedules.

  • Perform plumbing maintenance, carpentry functions, and simple machinist duties as needed.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment safely and appropriately.
  • Identify faulty operations, defective materials, or unusual situations and report concerns to proper supervision.
  • Ensure department employees follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent combination of education and production maintenance experience.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial maintenance skills required.

Mathematical and Technical Skills

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Ability to read and use measuring tools, including tape measures.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
