Job summary

Associated Asset Management (AAM), LLC seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for Ovation at Meridian, a vibrant onsite residential community in Queen Creek, AZ. You will lead maintenance staff and coordinate with the Community Manager to keep building systems and grounds in excellent condition.

The role requires experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool equipment, and other trades, plus strong communication, safety compliance, and log keeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a maintenance role with at least 1 year in a lead capacity
• Current Pima County Pool Certification or equivalent considered
• Valid driver's license required
• Experience in HOA or property management preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings, systems, and common elements to standard
• Oversee compliance with City, State, Federal, and OSHA codes
• Manage PM schedules and perform regular maintenance
• Identify maintenance needs and manage bidding processes
• Interact professionally with owners, leasing agents, residents, and vendors
• Follow up on service issues and report outcomes to management

We're Hiring a Maintenance Supervisor!

We're searching for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Maintenance Supervisor who enjoys working in a beautiful onsite community and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.

Ovation at Meridian is a vibrant residential community offering residents a comfortable, connected, and elevated lifestyle. The community features resort-style amenities, inviting social spaces, fitness and wellness areas, and beautifully maintained outdoor spaces designed for relaxation, recreation, and connection.

You'll be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, building systems, common areas, amenities, and other physical assets - helping create a safe, welcoming, and exceptional experience for residents.

Position Responsibilities :

• Partners with the Community Manager to maintain building systems and common elements to expected standards.
• Responsible for overseeing compliance with City, State, Federal, and OSHA, code and permit requirements.
• Responsible for PM schedules including performance, scheduling, review, record keeping and performs regular maintenance on all building systems per PM schedule.
• Proactive in identifying maintenance needs, repairs, and bid process to ensure work is completed in timely manner.
• Interacts with owners, leasing agents, residents and vendors is a professional and courteous manner.
• Follows up with all homeowners/residents regarding service issues and advises management team of interaction outcomes.
• Oversee maintenance staff.
• First point of contact for on-call emergencies - evenings and weekends.
• Performs other related duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool equipment and chemicals, painting, dry wall, welding and any other maintenance skills necessary to complete work orders.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form; maintain work logs; establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work assignments.
• Ability to gather information, analyze, seek input and make sound decisions.
• Exceptional customer service and follow through skills.
• Familiar with maintenance contracts and working with outside vendors.
• General knowledge and understanding of budget management.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Computer and internet proficiency.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Works indoors and outdoors.
• Requires physical ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, squat and bend.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, in crowded areas and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work on uneven surfaces, in hot, cold and wet conditions, climb and stand on ladders and scaffold at heights of up to 50 feet.
• Able to handle various manual and power tools.
• May work independently or as part of a team.

Experience working in a maintenance role with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a lead capacity managing maintenance personnel, preferably within an HOA or property management environment. Current Pima County Pool Certification (Pool Technician Certificate preferred, will consider Operator Certificate, and will consider training for right candidate). Valid Driver's License.
