Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Shift Supervisor for a new high-volume food & beverage plant in Prattville, AL. You will lead a shift of maintenance technicians on-site, owning safety, quality, and environmental results while driving proactive maintenance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications include 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance supervision, an engineering or technical degree, and ERP CMMS experience.

• Engineering or technical degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience with ERP-based CMMS required.
• Food, beverage, or CPG experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise a shift crew of maintenance technicians and own safety, quality, food safety, and environmental results.
• Assign daily work orders and ensure each job is finished correctly.
• Lead shift handoffs and represent maintenance in production tier meetings.
• Coordinate with planning on backlog, priorities, and staffing.
• Drive planned and preventive maintenance instead of reactive repairs.
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure CMMS work orders close with cause, action, and parts.
• Develop technicians through coaching and regular one-on-ones.
• Support OEE and continuous improvement on assigned equipment.

• Compensation: $95,000 to $120,000 + bonus

Overview

A major global food and beverage company recently opened one of the newest plants in its network in central Alabama and needs a maintenance supervisor to run a shift crew. The equipment and automation are current generation, and the operation is young enough that this person will help set the habits the maintenance department runs on for years. The company puts real investment behind its people and plants, and expects a leader who is visible on the floor.

What the Job Involves

• Supervise a shift crew of maintenance technicians and own safety, quality, food safety, and environmental results for the shift
• Hand out a full shift of work orders at the start of each day and confirm every job is finished right
• Lead shift handoffs and represent maintenance in production tier meetings
• Work with planning and scheduling on backlog, priorities, and staffing
• Manage how jobs get done: quality, time, cost, and completeness
• Move the team away from reactive repairs and toward planned and preventive work
• Run root cause investigations on breakdowns and see corrective actions through
• Make sure work orders are closed out fully in the CMMS with cause, action, and parts
• Develop technicians through on-the-job coaching, development plans, and regular one-on-ones
• Support OEE and continuous improvement work on assigned equipment

What They Need

• Engineering or technical degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
• 5+ years leading or supervising maintenance in manufacturing
• Food, beverage, or CPG experience preferred; other industries will be considered
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, drive, and industrial electrical troubleshooting background
• ERP-based CMMS experience required
• A floor-first leader who is credible with technicians
• Communicates clearly and holds a crew accountable through a full shift
