Job summary

BlackRock Resources, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd shift in the Piscataway, NJ area. The role offers direct hire and a salary range of $80,000–$85,000.

Qualified candidates will have 3–5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and leadership ability to guide a team in a fast-paced environment. PLCs and automated equipment experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or additional technical training preferred.
• 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous maintenance supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLC controls and automated production equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and manuals.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Food or beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-speed production environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Must be willing to work off shift (3rd).

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance activities on the 3rd shift in a large food manufacturing setting.
• Coordinate maintenance planning and downtime to support high-speed production.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and equipment manuals; troubleshoot issues.
• Lead a team, communicate priorities, and enforce safety and quality standards.
