About The Maintenance Supervisor Position

Responsible for the daily maintenance operations and physical upkeep of the property, ensuring compliance with company policies, standards, and all relevant regulations. Includes financial responsibilities related to property budgeting.

• Ensure maintenance tasks, service requests, and unit make-ready standards are met.
• Review and track service requests, identify chronic issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues, maintaining professionalism.
• Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds, etc.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Manage work order systems, inspect property grounds, and oversee emergency responses.
• Maintain safety standards, promote customer satisfaction, and foster positive relationships with residents.
• Conduct unit inspections, mentor team members, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors, monitor expenses, and participate in property meetings.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.

Skills and Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, auto insurance.
• Proficiency in English, basic office equipment, and organizational skills.
• Customer service skills, ability to multi-task, perform basic math, and handle difficult situations.
• Professional appearance and compliance with safety and uniform policies.
