Job Description

P. B. Bell Property Management Company has a Full-time Maintenance Supervisor position available at The Common, an apartment community located in Phoenix. This position is responsible for completing tasks to ensure the property meets all safety and appearance standards. It also involves maintaining apartments, buildings, equipment, and amenities in good working order, preparing vacant apartments for new residents, and responding to resident service requests promptly with high customer service standards.

Responsibilities include training, scheduling, developing, and managing maintenance staff to meet property goals. The role involves scheduling work, setting priorities, delegating responsibilities, and handling on-call emergency maintenance requests during evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position is full-time, with standard hours from 8-5, Monday through Friday. Compensation includes an excellent salary and benefits such as paid time off, insurance, and 401(k) plans.

Requirements

• Knowledge in all maintenance areas including plumbing, air-conditioning, electrical, and general repairs
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in apartment maintenance
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Ability to handle service calls, including after-hours or weekends
• Complete set of tools
• Customer service orientation
