Position: Maintenance Supervisor

The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to work at our Papago Park Campus, with flexibility to travel to Sunnyslope and South Mountain Campuses. Willingness to work weekends is required.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and work alongside staff performing maintenance and repairs of facilities and grounds, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems.
2. Ensure premises safety and comfort for animals, staff, and visitors.
3. Collaborate with the Director of Fleet and Facilities on facility growth plans.
4. Manage vendor, contractor, and supplier projects.
5. Respond to facilities emergencies, including after-hours calls.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 21 years old
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
• Minimum 4 years in building maintenance
• At least 2 years supervisory experience
• Knowledge of building codes, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, vehicle maintenance
• Ability to manage projects, supervise staff, and handle inventory

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 100 pounds, and work outdoors in various conditions. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
