Overview

Environmental Services/Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the community’s physical plant, grounds and equipment in-order to ensure a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains or supervises repairs and maintenance of the physical structure of the facility and equipment or obtains professional maintenance of equipment and/or facility.
• Assists in maintaining the grounds including mowing, weeding, raking, trimming and the shoveling of dirt and snow.
• Maintains all records for the Environmental Services departments, conducts preventative maintenance program.
• Cleans and maintains all mechanical and electrical systems.
• Orders and distributes all supplies for laundry, housekeeping and maintenance.
• Orients new hires on fire safety, SDS and lockout tagout procedures.
• Participates in the QAPI process.
• Responsible for departmental scheduling.
• Overall responsibility for the cleanliness of the building and laundry services.
• Performs heavy scrubbing, waxing and buffing.
• Overall responsibility for the building during emergency situations which may require working outside of normal business hours.

Requirements

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be licensed to drive without restrictions.
