Job summary

Thomson Health & Rehab is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to lead the Environmental and Laundry Departments in our healthcare facility. You will supervise cleaning staff, coordinate schedules, and ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The role requires adhering to safety rules, resident rights, and company policies. Strong background checks and health clearances are part of the employment process; a strong focus on quality and educational

Qualifications

• Floor stripping experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to meet all health requirements, including a drug screen.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, manages, and performs activities of the Environmental and Laundry Departments.
• Supervises work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure sanitary, orderly, and attractive conditions in the facility.
• Directs and supervises scheduling of employees within established guidelines.
• Understands, complies with and promotes all rules and regulations regarding safety and residents’ rights; promotes positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulators, to include presenting a professional appearance.
• Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance policy, including documentation and reporting responsibilities.
• Attends and participates in educational activities, in-service training, and staff meetings;
• Participates in Quality Improvement activities as assigned;
• Other duties as assigned or needed.
