Job summary

SCHUTZ CONTAINER SYSTEMS INC in Pasadena, TX, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the night shift and ensure equipment reliability. You will coordinate with operations to schedule preventive maintenance and urgent repairs, while guiding technicians and tracking activities in SAP.

The role requires strong knowledge of SAP, Excel, electrical drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems, plus the ability to multi-task and improve asset utilization.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in inventory control, receiving, organizing and managing a parts room.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead others.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with maintenance manager and operations for scheduling and staffing.
  • Maintains and repairs manufacturing equipment; tracks work orders and maintenance history in SAP.
  • Prepares maintenance reports, analyzes data, and suggests improvements.
  • Directs safety program and ensures compliance with regulations.
  • Provides training, evaluates performance, and leads maintenance team.
