• The incumbent will perform the following duties as assigned: Serves as a working supervisor responsible for the daily operation - maintenance - and repair of all structural and maintenance systems across nine Orlando VA Locations
• Assigns work orders - prioritizes tasks - and ensures timely completion of preventative maintenance - repairs and special projects
• Research and gathers information for parts and supplies - performs material take-offs - and submits material requests to the M&O Foreman
• Inspects facilities - shops and equipment regularly to ensure safety and operational readiness
• Manages an equipment inventory of over 16 -000 items
• Plans and schedules work assignments
• Determines whether projects are completed in-house or requires contracting
• Analyzes work schedules - manpower availability - tooling material requirements and methods to be used
• Prepares annual budget estimates for all field operations
• Performs a full range of administrative and supervisory personnel functions
• Other duties as assigned
