Job summary

ADAMA Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure maintenance activities are performed effectively at our facility and to provide the tools, systems and processes that support business goals.

The role involves leading maintenance staff, coordinating with other departments, ensuring safety compliance, and handling procurement documentation while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have 2–3 years supervisory experience, preferably in maintenance and/or a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator.
  • Must be forklift certifiable.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be able to work overtime when required, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to take call, including after shift hours, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work in a high volume/high speed environment.
  • Must have excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure maintenance activities in a facility are appropriately carried out.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and service activities and maintain a cycle of the same.
  • Maintain proper staffing levels to support plant operations.
  • Recruit maintenance staff and evaluate their performances.
  • Interact with other departments to ensure proper functioning of all processes and systems.
  • Comply with all safety norms and regulations set by the industry.
  • Delegate work to subordinates and ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare material requisitions, purchase orders and other documents for procurement of spare parts.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Assist technicians in repairs, maintenance, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Summary

Minimum Education / Experience

High School Diploma or GED with 2–3 years related experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

Physical Demands
  • Must be able to stand up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to work at heights up to 40 feet.
  • Must be able to climb, bend and stoop.
  • Must be able to see and hear.
Work Environment

Plant environment
Frequent exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals.

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
