Rising Treetops at Oakhurst is a year-round facility that provides various respite and summer camp programs serving individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. Our facility spans 15 acres with 14 buildings. We are seeking a maintenance supervisor who, under general supervision, performs skilled and semi-skilled labor in the repair and maintenance of camp facilities, ensuring safety regulations and policies are followed. Maintenance tasks include basic carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work.

Our primary goal in every role is to ensure that members, guests, and visitors receive the highest quality service.

Job Type: Full Time Salary

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday, with some weekends as needed

Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly

Supervisor: Director of Operations

Responsibilities:

1. Inspect facilities, prioritize repairs, improvements, and preventive maintenance.
2. Follow safety rules and regulations; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, and report issues.
3. Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks, including carpentry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment cleaning.
4. Work on assigned projects, make decisions based on experience, notify supervisors of major repair needs.
5. Perform seasonal work such as swimming pool maintenance, groundskeeping, trash removal, and trimming.
6. Clean buildings and vehicles, maintain cleanliness and safety.
7. Inspect and maintain equipment and tools, perform minor repairs.
8. Operate vehicles and equipment safely; drive a 14-passenger vehicle as required.
9. Complete work logs, incident reports, and requisitions.
10. Perform snow and ice removal using appropriate equipment during seasonal months.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in handyman tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and vehicle mechanics.
2. Experience with power tools and safety knowledge.
3. Punctuality, efficiency, and prioritization skills.
4. Ability to work independently maintaining standards.
5. Safe operation of vehicles, tools, and equipment, including snow removal.
6. Knowledge of safety codes and standards.
7. Excellent communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
8. Valid Driver's License; driving a 14-passenger vehicle required.
9. Clean criminal background and driving record.
10. Experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.

Physical Requirements:

1. Lift and carry objects up to 100 pounds.
2. Perform moderate physical work.
3. Work with cleaning chemicals and solutions.
4. Work in dusty and dirty conditions.
