Job summary

Hilton Grand Vacations Club La Pension Resort in New Orleans, LA is hiring an Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of maintenance technicians and support the Chief Engineer with special projects. The role ensures the safe operation of guestrooms, common areas and equipment across the property.

You will inspect, maintain and monitor life-safety systems, logs, and preventive maintenance while driving efficiency and quality in daily tasks and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

EPA certification preferred
CPO certification preferred
OSHA certification preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent required
3 years of building or property maintenance experience required

Responsibilities

Supervise, direct and train a team of maintenance technicians
Assist the Chief Engineer with special projects
Visually inspect, operate, and maintain guestrooms, common areas and equipment systems
Ensure safe and efficient operation of the facility including boilers, chillers, and related equipment
Monitor and test Emergency and Life Safety systems
Record and maintain logs and preventive maintenance records
Monitor team member efficiency and guest response
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Chief Engineer

As a Engineering Supervisoryou would be responsible for:

Supervise, direct and train a team of highly motivated Technicians.

Assist the Chief Engineer with special projects.

Visually inspect, operate, and maintain guestrooms, common area and associated equipment systems throughout the property.

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility including guestrooms, common areas, boilers, chillers, air compressors and related facility equipment

Monitor, maintain and test Emergency and Life Safety systems.

Record and maintain various logs and preventative maintenance records.

Monitor team member efficiency, quality and guest response

May be required to do other duties and special projects assigned by the Chief Engineer.

Qualifications

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

EPA strongly preferred
CPO strongly preferred
OSHA certified strongly preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent experience
3 years of building and/or property maintenance
