Job summary

Raymond Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all hotel maintenance activities at a Hilton Garden Inn–Madison property. This role includes supervising repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and more.

You will schedule tasks to minimize disruption, train staff, respond to guest requests, and collaborate with housekeeping and front desk to resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, with a proven track record of leadership in a similar role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergency repairs and system failures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and delegate responsibilities to team members.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other departments.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the maintenance team in performing repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance for all hotel systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and more.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks to ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations.
  • Train, guide, and evaluate the performance of maintenance staff, ensuring safety protocols and procedures are followed.
  • Respond to guest maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to resolve any maintenance-related concerns.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and supplies to ensure cost-effective operations.

Job description

Position: Maintenance Supervisor
Starting Salary Range: $20.00-$21.00/hour or more based on experience.
Wage Increases: New hires can earn wage increases at 30, 60, 90 days
Employment Type: Full-Time
