Kelly Engineering is seeking Maintenance Supervisor for a direct position at a Global consumer products client in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. Salary: $26.00 per hour

Overview

This client is a Global Biopharmaceutical company whose mission is to discover, develop, and deliver innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing and packaging equipment, maximizing production efficiency, and upholding our commitment to quality standards.

Schedule: 1st and 2nd shifts

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance and engineering strategies aligned with company objectives. Oversee the design, execution, and completion of engineering projects, including tool and die fabrication, research and development, and process improvements.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of skilled maintenance professionals, including General Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians. Coordinate and schedule equipment Preventive Maintenance and Engineering Change Control as necessary. Participate in hiring, training, performance management, and staff development.
• Equipment Management: Manage and maintain an inventory of equipment parts to ensure timely repairs and replacements. Monitor equipment performance, implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime, and plan line changeovers, setups, repairs, and new installations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Science.
• At least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory position or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven expertise in managing and maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment, including preventative maintenance programs.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications, including maintenance management systems.
