ANDRITZ in Muncy, PA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations in a safety-focused manufacturing environment. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, boost equipment reliability, and support productivity, quality, and cost goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related technical field or equivalent education/experience.
• 5+ years industrial maintenance experience and 2+ years supervisory/leadership.
• Experience with preventive maintenance planning, CMMS/SAP.
• OSHA, lockout/tagout, machine guarding and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and reinforce safe work practices, company policies, and accountability.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Monitor uptime, PM completion, backlog, and repair costs; take corrective action.
• Support troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automated systems.
• Administer Confined Space Program and conduct safety observations, audits, and follow-up.
• Coach employees, approve time/leave, maintain records, and support continuous improvement.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Maintenance Supervisor leads daily maintenance operations in a safety-focused manufacturing environment. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, develops team capability, improves equipment reliability, and supports productivity, quality, and cost objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and reinforce safe work practices, company policies, and employee accountability.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
• Monitor equipment uptime, PM completion, backlog, and repair costs; take corrective action as needed.
• Support troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automated systems.
• Administer the Confined Space Program and conduct safety observations, audits, and incident follow-up.
• Coach employees, approve time and leave requests, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Track, review, and approve employee time records and requests for vacation and/or sick leave in accordance with company policy.
• Participate in lean manufacturing, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain the flexibility to work any required shift or schedule based on operational needs.
• Communicate and consistently enforce company policies, procedures, values, and health and safety requirements through shift-floor meetings and other appropriate channels.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Associate degree in a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience and 2 years of supervisory or maintenance leadership experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance planning, industrial equipment troubleshooting, and CMMS and/or SAP.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and safe work practices.

Preferred

• Experience with lean manufacturing, CNC equipment, robotics, automation, heat treat operations, or facility maintenance.

• Driving continuous improvement in equipment reliability, processes, and team performance.
