Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in Mocksville, NC, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a new facility serving the electric utilities market. The role emphasizes leading maintenance operations for injection molded plastics machinery, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and cost control.

You will supervise maintenance staff, implement preventive maintenance, coordinate parts and repairs, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Technical degree or certification in electrical, hydraulics, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision with expertise in electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, PLCs, motors, pumps, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic circuit diagrams, and blueprints.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a maintenance team.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
• Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet customer requirements throughout production operations.
• Supervise production associates and enforce policies and quality standards.
• Provide training on production processes, procedures, and quality controls.
• Direct, maintain, and enforce safety and quality programs within the facility.
• Monitor equipment performance and anticipate potential issues.
• Prepare reports and analyze data to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Prioritize work orders and assist with repairs of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ensure adherence to Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules and train staff as needed.
• Source parts for planned maintenance and emergencies.
• Communicate procedures and safety requirements to operators and maintenance personnel.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions addressing root causes.
• Collaborate with support groups to secure necessary resources.
• Promote high standards through leadership and example.

Our client is a very well established manufacturer of products for the electric utilities industry--They have an immediate need for a Maintenance Supervisor at a new facility in Mocksville North Carolina. Injection molded plastics machinery strongly preferred.

Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure customer requirements and expectations are accurately identified and met throughout production operations.
• Supervise and hold production associates accountable to company policies, ensuring quality standards are consistently met with proper recordkeeping.
• Provide training to staff on production processes, procedures, and quality controls, promoting knowledge transfer.
