We’re looking to fill an immediate opening as a Permanent Full-Time Maintenance Supervisor at our Midland location.
What you'll do:
- Track all vehicles at vendors using check-in/out documents, Maintain, and OOS spreadsheet.
- Coordinate vehicle transport between vendors, branches, and customers, ensuring timely movement.
- Manage recalls, out-of-town breakdowns, and service bookings efficiently.
- Complete MARC sheets for damaged vehicles and track repairs, including customer chargebacks.
- Update maintenance reminders and scan service history into Maintain.
- Review and verify dealer work orders and body shop estimates; send to claims as needed.
- Ensure rental vehicles meet rigging and decal standards, and are registered and plated.
- Oversee storage and inventory of unused equipment; maintain up-to-date fire extinguishers.
- Conduct vehicle audits and help mark fleet vehicles for sale
- Work with the rental team to provide damage photos, estimates, and billing documentation.
- Create/close POs and review monthly; manage designated fuel cards.
- Manage facility maintenance with the Rental or Branch Manager.
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff; manage onboarding/offboarding.
What you’ll need:
- Previous experience in customer service and rental industry is an asset
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Experience with finance and insurance, leasing, or rentals operations considered an asset
- Knowledge and affiliations with local businesses considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills with the passion to coach and mentor a successful team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to solve problems independently following company guidelines and policies
- Pre-hire Criminal Security Clearance is required
- Strong computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Previous experience in customer service and automotive industry is preferred
