Job summary

Nesco Resource in Manchester, TN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of 8–10 technicians and drive equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement on a 12-hour shift.

You will oversee daily maintenance activities, analyze downtime, and implement improvements while coordinating training and development for the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2–5 years of maintenance leadership/management experience.
• Technical degree or vocational certification in Industrial Maintenance.

Location: Manchester, TN

Salary: $80,000–$85,000

Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Team: 8–10 Maintenance Technicians

Are you an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with a strong background in industrial manufacturing?

We're looking for a hands‑on maintenance leader to oversee a team of 8–10 Maintenance Technicians and help drive equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who brings a strong combination of mechanical, electrical, controls, and leadership expertise.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily maintenance activities and a team of 8–10 Maintenance Technicians.

• Track and analyze equipment downtime and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Monitor and analyze preventive maintenance activities and results.

• Coordinate technician training, education, and development.

What We're Looking For

• Technical degree or vocational certification in Industrial Maintenance or a related field.

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

• 2–5 years of maintenance leadership/management experience.

• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Ability to lead technicians while understanding the technical side of industrial maintenance.

Technical Expertise

Successful candidates will have experience with a combination of the following:

Mechanical Maintenance

• Bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and compressors

• Power transmission systems

• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Conveyor systems

• Industrial presses

• Welding and fabrication

• Precision alignment and balancing

Electrical & Controls

• Industrial electrical systems, including 480V / 3‑phase

• Motor controls and VFDs

• PLC troubleshooting, including Allen‑Bradley and Siemens

• HMI systems such as Allen‑Bradley and C‑More

• Digital and analog instrumentation and sensors

Safety

• OSHA compliance

• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

• Arc flash awareness

• Confined Space Permits

• Hot Work Permits

• Safety investigations

• OSHA 10/30 Certification

Manufacturing Process Experience

• Extrusion

• Injection molding

• Pick‑and‑place automation
