Job summary

Sedgebrook Senior Living in Lincolnshire, IL is seeking a Hospitality focused Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and perform maintenance operations, coordinate daily work orders and preventive maintenance under facilities management leadership.

You will lead maintenance staff, ensure timely completion of tasks, and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems across residential, common, and clinical spaces. This role offers a weekday schedule with competitive hourly pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; HVAC certification and experience required; other applicable trade certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in healthcare, senior living, assisted living, skilled nursing or a comparable environment is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in facilities or equivalent field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support assigned maintenance technician(s), ensuring productivity, quality, and timely completion of assigned work.
• Monitor maintenance staff and provide hands-on assistance, as needed, to ensure operational continuity.
• Assign, prioritize, and monitor daily work orders and preventive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, including fixtures, piping, valves, outlets, and controls.
• Perform and oversee maintenance and repair work in residential units, common areas, and clinical spaces.
• Respond to system or equipment failures and address after-hours maintenance issues, as required.
• Oversee the work order system to ensure timely completion and accurate documentation of all assigned tasks.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and work scheduled or on-call overtime, as necessary.
