Job description

Logoplaste is currently seeking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor to join the plant team in Lima, OH.

Key Tasks & Activities

• Provide a safe working environment for all employees to ensure an acceptable incident rate.
• Ensure all Lockout procedures are followed.
• Maintain facilities in compliance with AIB guidelines with the goal of achieving/maintaining a "Superior" rating on audit.
• Facilitate high-quality communication with maintenance personnel to promote a team philosophy.
• Develop, implement, and facilitate training programs for all maintenance personnel.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager and Plant Manager to develop, implement, and facilitate Standard Operating Conditions (SOCs).
• Ensure adherence to the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.
• Complete all maintenance projects in a timely manner.
• Provide direction to shift mechanics and line operators regarding PMs and projects.
• Maintain plant line efficiencies at or above budgeted levels.
• Ensure the facility is in good working order and maintain high standards of plant housekeeping.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
• Ensure the production of a quality product.
• Manage parts room inventories with appropriate min/max levels.
• Supervise process adjustments during production on blow molders and auxiliary equipment.
• Participate in and report on trials aimed at improving processes and product quality, such as light weighting, increasing line speeds, and reducing efficiency losses.
• Work with the customer on continuous operational improvements.
• Maintain low levels of regrind production and high regrind usage.
• Reduce generation of contaminated materials and raw material spoilage.
• Possess an Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Have a minimum of five years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience.
• Successfully perform all essential duties of the role.
