Job summary

Brookside Properties, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for Element Apartments in Lexington, KY. You will lead maintenance operations, supervise the team, and ensure timely service requests and preventative maintenance to keep our communities running smoothly.

You should have strong HVAC troubleshooting skills, EPA Type II or Universal Certification, and a high school diploma or GED. The role offers growth opportunities within a stable, expanding property management company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment maintenance supervisor experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance operations for the apartment community.
• Supervise, coach, and support the maintenance team.
• Oversee service requests and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and building components.
• Maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities.
• Coordinate outside vendors and contractors.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing standards compliance.
• Participate in rotating emergency on-call schedule.

What You'll Do

• Lead all maintenance operations for the apartment community
• Supervise, coach, and support the maintenance team
• Oversee service requests, preventative maintenance, and apartment turns
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and other building components
• Maintain community buildings, grounds, and amenities
• Coordinate outside vendors and contractors
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing standards

What We're Looking For
