Job summary

FLATS LLC in Nevada, Las Vegas, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform on-site property upkeep, respond to work orders, and help with apartment turns.

This role requires basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repair, plus the ability to service common areas and amenities and support a safety-first environment.

A valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a high school diploma (or equivalent) are preferred prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance experience in apartment or building settings.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance work orders promptly and effectively.
• Perform apartment turns by working in vacant units to prepare them for new residents.
• Maintain common areas of the building including hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and amenities.
• Conduct pool and seasonal amenity maintenance, including cleaning and basic equipment checks.
• Identify and resolve minor plumbing and electrical issues.
• Perform light carpentry, painting, drywall repairs, and general building repairs.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Respond to on-call, after-hours maintenance emergencies on a rotating schedule.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests during maintenance visits.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager and team to complete tasks on time.
