Job summary

FLATS LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for on-site work at our Nevada properties in Las Vegas. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to service requests, complete apartment turns, and maintain common areas to deliver high-quality living spaces.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in building maintenance, basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair, plus strong problem-solving and a commitment to safety and resident service.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance experience in apartments or buildings.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair knowledge.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance work orders promptly and effectively.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents (apartment turns).
• Maintain common areas of the building, including hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and amenities.
• Conduct pool and seasonal amenity maintenance, including cleaning and basic equipment checks.
• Identify and resolve minor plumbing and electrical issues.
• Perform light carpentry, painting, drywall repairs, and general building repairs.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Maintain the property's exterior, including trash pickup.
• Respond to on-call, after-hours maintenance emergencies on a rotating schedule.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests during maintenance visits.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Ensure safety standards and a clean work environment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, etc.).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
