Job summary

Accessible Space, Inc. in Las Vegas seeks a Full-time Maintenance Supervisor to lead complex facilities maintenance across sites.

You will supervise the Maintenance Technician and Housekeeping staff, ensure training and scheduling, and coordinate procurement of supplies and services. The ideal candidate has at least five years in senior property maintenance, strong mechanical aptitude, and proven staff leadership; a valid driver's license and ability to travel are required, with healthcare

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to manage multiple locations.
• Minimum two years of staff leadership experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across sites.
• Experience in a healthcare facilities setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Supervisor will:

• Oversee, coordinate, perform, and evaluate complex maintenance
• Provide direct supervision of the Maintenance Technician and the Housekeeping staff
• Ensure staff are properly trained, scheduled
• Coordinate, monitor, and document the purchase of necessary maintenance and housekeeping supplies, materials, equipment and contracted services

We can't get around this - to qualify you must have:

• A minimum of five years of experience in a senior property maintenance position with exposure to all facets of facilities maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple facility locations.
• A minimum of two years of successful staff leadership.
• Valid and current driver's license and the ability to travel throughout the community to all assigned sites.
• Possession of basic mechanical skills along with an ability to perform routine buildings and grounds maintenance.
• Experience in a health care facilities setting and ability to effectively and appropriately interact with individuals with disabilities a plus. Vocational training and/or certification as a Residential Maintenance Technician or equivalent also a plus.
