Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Lake Charles community to oversee daily repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance on-site.

The role emphasizes reliability in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks, with a focus on tenant-ready units and budget adherence. The successful candidate will manage work orders, inspections, and inventory, coordinating with the Property Manager and maintenance team.

• Preferred apartment/multi-family experience.
• Customer service oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assist in the apartment make ready process for vacant units.
• Completion of assigned work orders for repairs and improvements.
• Competent in all phases of maintenance including appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, pools, irrigation systems.
• Property and vacant unit inspections.
• Maintain adequate inventory of parts and supplies.
• Work with the Property Manager to stay within budget guidelines.
• Maintain adequate HVAC and pool maintenance logs.
• Ensure parts and storage areas are organized and secured.
• Use of basic hand tools and power tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor position is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community at all times. The successful candidate will have experience including but not limited to; plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Weekend availability and call out time on a rotating basis is required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and assist in the apartment make ready process for vacant units
• Completion of assigned work orders for repairs and improvements
• Must be competent in all phases of maintenance including appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, pools, irrigations systems, etc.
• Property and vacant unit inspections
• Maintain adequate inventory of parts and supplies
• Work with the Property Manager to stay within the budget guidelines in regards to expenditures
• Maintain adequate HVAC, and pool maintenance logs
• Ensures the parts and storage areas are organized and secured
• Use of basic hand tools and power tools
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as needed
• Additional duties as assigned
