Job summary

Vintage Realty Company in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep of the community. You will manage plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry tasks and ensure safety and quality of work.

The role requires weekend availability, rotating on-call, and collaboration with the Property Manager to stay within budget while maintaining logs for HVAC and pools.

Qualifications

• Preferred apartment/multi-family experience.
• Customer service oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assist in the apartment make ready process for vacant units.
• Completion of assigned work orders for repairs and improvements.
• Must be competent in all phases of maintenance including appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, pools, irrigation systems, etc.
• Property and vacant unit inspections.
• Maintain adequate inventory of parts and supplies.
• Work with the Property Manager to stay within budget guidelines in regards to expenditures.
• Maintain adequate HVAC, and pool maintenance logs.
• Ensures the parts and storage areas are organized and secured.
• Use of basic hand tools and power tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor position is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community at all times. The successful candidate will have experience including but not limited to; plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Weekend availability and call out time on a rotating basis is required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
