Qualifications

• Minimum three years of maintenance experience in the multifamily industry.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• 5 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and higher-level maintenance services including plumbing and electrical.
• Respond promptly to resident service requests and participate in preventative maintenance tasks.
• Be available for on-call work, including weekends and nights.

Job description

Perform general and higher-level maintenance services such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, HVAC, etc.

Respond promptly to resident service requests.

Be available for on-call work, including weekends and nights, with an on-call bonus.

Participate in preventative maintenance tasks, including pool maintenance, exterior lighting, filter changes, and apartment inspections.

Maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment. Care for, maintain, and inventory supplies and equipment owned by the property or management company.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of maintenance experience in the multifamily industry.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Refrigeration certification (Type 2 or universal).
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations and dependable transportation.
• CPO certification if required in the state and location.
• Knowledge of OneSite preferred.

Physical and Technical Skills:

• Use various hand tools and test equipment.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
• Push and pull up to 300 pounds on wheels.
• Lift up to 100 pounds.
• Climb ladders up to 40 feet.
• Use a hand-truck.
• Make apartment homes spectacular.

Additional Qualifications:

• 5 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Licenses and certifications as required.
