Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include assisting and coaching team members on 5S activities, managing machine classification and analysis, leading spare parts management, driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting maintenance programs, and facilitating effective communication across departments. The role also involves analyzing process parameters, participating in PFMEA activities, and supporting the implementation of World Class Manufacturing standards. Additionally, the supervisor will track KPIs, support safety and quality initiatives, and fill in as Production Business Unit Leader when required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and GED
• Minimum 3 years of industrial automation experience with project management skills
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving experience
• Goal-oriented with leadership ability and team coaching skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility to work any shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field
• Experience with continuous improvement systems, lean manufacturing, and leading maintenance teams in union environments
• Green Belt/Red X/Six Sigma training
• Knowledge of controls, robotics, drives, communication systems, and various manufacturing systems
• Familiarity with World Class Manufacturing methodologies and Google Suite
