Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Jacksonville, FL to lead a team of maintenance technicians at a high-volume production facility. You will drive equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and foster a strong safety culture while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, with mechanical/electrical maintenance, and hands-on expertise with PLCs and automated equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance supervisory leadership in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Experience with corrugator equipment in packaging.
• Strong troubleshooting with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with PLCs, servo systems, motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with operations, engineering, maintenance.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Technical degree in maintenance-related discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop maintenance technicians and craftsmen.
• Provide troubleshooting support to quickly resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Drive preventive, predictive, and reliability maintenance initiatives to improve equipment reliability.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities, work assignments, and planned maintenance efforts.
• Partner with operations and plant leadership to improve uptime and production performance.
• Monitor maintenance inventory and supporting storeroom spending objectives.
• Ensuring compliance with plant safety, environmental, and maintenance standards.
• Leading maintenance-related safety meetings, training initiatives, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Supporting reliability improvement projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coaching technicians on troubleshooting techniques, maintenance best practices, and safety procedures.
• Supporting equipment upgrades, repairs, and maintenance planning activities.Driving accountability for maintenance KPIs and reliability metrics.

• 3+ years of maintenance supervisory or leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience supporting corrugator equipment within a corrugated packaging environment.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with PLCs, servo systems, motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.Proven ability to work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Technical degree in a maintenance-related discipline or equivalent industry experience preferred.
