Willow Bridge is currently hiring an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for a multi-family residential community. Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff in daily activities including maintenance, installation, repairs, service requests, turnovers, and groundskeeping.
  • Hire, train, and develop maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety practices.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, correct unsafe practices, and train staff on handling chemicals, supplies, and equipment safely.
  • Lead safety and department meetings, participate in regional meetings and community events.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for installation, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Maintain departmental budget and ensure projects stay within financial guidelines.
  • Prepare project specifications, negotiate bids, and inspect vendor work for quality and compliance.
  • Order and manage maintenance supplies and inventory efficiently.
  • Assign and ensure timely completion of service requests and maintenance projects, including make-readies.
  • Update and track service requests using Yardi Mobile until completion.
  • Troubleshoot and train staff on various trades, assessing and recommending repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure all safety practices are followed and staff are trained accordingly.
  • Adhere to OSHA and other applicable safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ maintenance experience, property management experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills for large teams.
  • Strong knowledge in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and appliance repair.
  • HVAC and EPA certifications preferred.
  • Effective communication skills for interaction with management, vendors, and residents.
  • Proficiency in operating small tools, electrical systems, and basic machinery repair.
  • Basic computer skills, including mobile devices and PCs.
  • A valid license may be required.
  • Availability for on-call, emergency, and off-hours work.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
