Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential or multifamily housing.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to diagnose and fix issues to minimize outside vendor calls.
• General repairs and handyman skills across building components.
• Dependable, self‑motivated, and detail‑oriented with a professional attitude.
• Good customer service skills and resident‑facing communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical work.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel between properties.
• EPA HVAC Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repairs and general maintenance throughout the apartment community.
• Troubleshoot and repair outlets, fixtures, doors, and hardware.
• Service HVAC systems not cooling or heating properly.
• Complete unit turns, including cleaning, repairs, painting touch-ups, and make-ready work.
• Lead scheduling and tracking of make-ready timelines for vacant units.
• Maintain outdoor areas, common spaces, and amenities to keep them safe and clean.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Keep accurate records of completed work and maintenance activity.
• Order, track, and maintain inventory of supplies and materials.
• Be available for emergency on-call responsibilities as needed.

From routine repairs to unit turns, you will play a key role in resident satisfaction and overall property operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

Perform daily repairs and general maintenance throughout the apartment community

• Troubleshoot and repair items such as:
• Electrical outlets and fixtures
• Door hardware and locks
• HVAC systems that are not cooling or heating properly
• Complete unit turns, including cleaning coordination, repairs, painting touch-ups, and make-ready work
• Take the lead on scheduling and tracking make-ready timelines for vacant units
• Maintain outdoor areas, common spaces, and amenities to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-kept
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally
• Keep accurate records of completed work and maintenance activity
• Order, track, and maintain inventory of supplies and materials

What We’re Looking For
