Protouch Staffing seeks an experienced maintenance leader to supervise supervisors and technicians, drive reliability programs, and plan maintenance execution in a manufacturing environment.

You will oversee asset management, vendor relations, and safety/compliance while fostering continuous improvement. Minneapolis-based role with a focus on uptime and operational excellence.

Competenze

• 10+ years in industrial maintenance operations.
• 5+ years in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role in manufacturing.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics.
• Experience with RCA and reliability improvement frameworks.
• Background with automated machinery, PLC troubleshooting, and industrial controls preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS and RCM principles.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement environments preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent credentials preferred.

• Leadership & Team Development: Direct, mentor, and evaluate maintenance supervisors and technicians. Drive accountability, support recruiting and onboarding, build technical competencies, and cultivate an environment centered on ownership and continuous improvement.
• Reliability & Asset Management: Spearhead root-cause failure analyses and implement corrective actions. Champion preventive and predictive maintenance programs, decrease recurring breakdowns, and establish long-range equipment replacement roadmaps.
• Maintenance Execution & Planning: Optimize maintenance planning, scheduling, and work order execution. Balance resource allocation against production priorities, supervise work order backlogs, and guide spare parts inventory strategies.
• Technical Guidance: Serve as the technical authority across mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial electrical setups, PLC-driven machinery, and automated manufacturing lines.
• Facilities & Contractor Oversight: Manage overall facility upkeep and infrastructure projects. Direct vendor and contractor agreements, evaluate contractor performance, and manage after-hours emergency facility responses when necessary.

Qualifications And Certifications

• 10 or more years of experience in industrial maintenance operations.
• 5 or more years in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise troubleshooting mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Proven track record leading root cause analysis RCA and implementing reliability improvement frameworks.
• Practical background working with automated machinery, PLC troubleshooting, and industrial controls preferred.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems CMMS and Reliability Centered Maintenance RCM principles preferred.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement environments preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or equivalent technical credentials preferred.
