Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor plans, organizes, schedules, assigns, and evaluates the work of subordinates and provides training and counseling as needed. Ensures adequate supplies, materials, and equipment are available; orders supplies and materials as needed. Collaborates with other management.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and participates in building and facilities maintenance and repair.
• Ensures safety standards and precautions are followed.
• Inspects completed work for accuracy.
• Maintains equipment in proper working order.
• Operates tools and equipment safely.
• Trains and counsels employees.
• Prepares cost estimates for projects.
• Maintains records and prepares reports.
• Prepares time records for payroll.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in skilled trades.
• Leadership skills preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices, safety standards, and use of power tools.
• Computer literate, with MS Office skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with CMMS and building management systems is a plus.
