Job summary

AMLI Lex on Orange in Glendale, CA seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the onsite maintenance team at our 310-unit mid-rise luxury community. This hands-on leadership role oversees HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, and appliance repairs while coordinating daily service requests and apartment turns.

You will drive preventive maintenance, manage vendors and budgets, and mentor staff to uphold AMLI’s high standards and exceptional resident service.

Qualifications

• EPA Refrigerant Certification (Type I & II or Universal) is required.
• 3+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, preventive maintenance, and apartment make-ready operations.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets, vendors, inventory, and expenses.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex maintenance issues and provide hands-on technical guidance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate a maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead & develop your team: supervise, train, coach, and schedule maintenance and grounds personnel while coordinating outside vendors.
• Oversee building maintenance: diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, structural, and appliance systems.
• Manage daily operations: oversee service requests, resident concerns, and apartment turns.
• Drive preventive maintenance: manage annual maintenance program, equipment inspections, and preventive schedules.
• Maintain property standards: regular property inspections and curb appeal.
• Manage vendors & supplies: oversee inventory, purchasing, invoices, vendor services, and maintenance supplies.
• Support budgets & capital projects: partner on maintenance expenses and vendor contracts.
• Monitor performance: review maintenance reports, dashboards, and turn schedules.
• Ensure safety & compliance: maintain OSHA compliance and address safety concerns.

AMLI Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at AMLI Lex on Orange, our 310-unit mid-rise luxury apartment community in Glendale, California.In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee the maintenance team and ensure our apartment homes, building systems, amenities, and grounds are maintained to AMLI's high standards.
