Job summary

Welcome Home Management (WHM) is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor for the Carriage Homes on the Lake property in Garland, TX. You will troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other mechanical systems while performing general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include inspections, responding to requests, ensuring safety and building code compliance, managing inventory, and coordinating with property management teams. On-call duties after hours are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of property maintenance or related field experience.
• Strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems knowledge.
• EPA, HVAC, and CPO certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical and other mechanical systems.
• Conduct property inspections and address maintenance needs promptly.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; order replacements as needed.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and special projects.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and inspections.
• Collaborate with property management teams to ensure smooth operation.
• Assist with scheduling of make readies and vendors.
• Be available for on-call after hours emergencies.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor at our Carriage Homes on the Lakeproperty located in Garland, TX. Your role will involve troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems, as well as performing general maintenance duties. This position requires flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

• Assist with scheduling of make readies and vendors
• This position will require being available to take on-call for after hour emergencies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• EPA, HVAC, and CPO certifications required
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel frequently and adapt to different property environments
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in using maintenance software and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
