Job Description
- Lead a small team of technicians and hourly department leaders. Manage performance, attendance, and development of direct reports.
- Ensure all team members comply with Safety and Environmental programs.
- Review job notifications to determine work priorities.
- Manage work order backlog and synchronize work activities with plant schedules and manpower availability.
- Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Develop and oversee the execution of the preventive maintenance program with engineering and maintenance staff.
- Utilize AI-powered tools and models for troubleshooting, documentation, and decision-making.
- Support the application of digital technologies like predictive analytics and machine learning to monitor equipment health and detect failures.
- Collaborate with Engineering and IT to implement automation projects and improve data collection and analysis systems.
- Review key process metrics and KPIs using digital dashboards to plan and adjust maintenance activities.
- Analyze data from predictive maintenance inspections and take appropriate actions based on experience and knowledge.
- Ensure maintenance processes are documented and consistently followed.
- Train and supervise technicians to improve efficiency and familiarize them with company policies.
- Coordinate with management, engineering, and quality control to resolve maintenance issues and improve operations.
- Assist in preparing the department budget and monitor expenditures.
