About the Opportunity

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the ongoing preventive maintenance of the facility building, equipment, and grounds. Key duties include troubleshooting maintenance problems as they arise, ensuring maintenance services are available for emergency needs outside of regular hours, performing most tasks independently, and coordinating with licensed vendors when necessary. The supervisor also assists residents with moving and minor repairs and maintains a safe working environment in adherence to infection control measures.

Demonstrates strong safety awareness, follows safety procedures, remains self‑supervising and self‑motivated, sets priorities, and completes tasks in a timely manner. Maintains a positive, courteous, respectful attitude toward residents, families, staff, and visitors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in building maintenance.
• Prior experience in managing a team.
• Knowledge of plumbing (design/mechanics of commodes, plumbing fixtures, drains, discharge lines, hot water heaters, dishwashers, ice machines, etc.).
• Knowledge of HVAC (general principles of HVAC and heat pump operation/mechanics, refrigeration).
• Knowledge of electricity (wiring, voltage, amperage).
• Knowledge of mechanics (design/operation of engines).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no major violations.
