Legacy at Jacksonville is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facility's maintenance operations, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

You will manage a team, coordinate schedules, oversee preventive maintenance, and work with external contractors, while controlling budgets. This role requires HVAC, boiler, and water systems knowledge, strong leadership, and a proactive approach in a healthcare‑style environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading facility maintenance teams in healthcare or long‑term care.
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency systems.
• Ability to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with supply ordering and budget adherence.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Operations: Hire, train, and supervise maintenance staff.
• Promote Safety & Compliance: Conduct fire system inspections and coordinate monthly drills.
• Oversee Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain Equipment: Inspect, service HVAC, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage Supplies & Budget: Order maintenance supplies and equipment while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Supervise Contractors: Oversee and coordinate work by external contractors.
• Maintain Standards: Ensure the facility and its equipment are safe, operational, and compliant with all regulations.
• Train Staff: Provide job‑specific training and promote adherence to safety procedures.
• Coordinate Schedules: Plan department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team! In this role, you will lead maintenance operations to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant. Success in this position requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Your Impact as a Maintenance Supervisor

In this role, you will:

• Lead Maintenance Operations: Hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members

• Oversee Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program
