Job summary

Lynd Management Group, LLC seeks a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the multifamily property’s maintenance operations. You will supervise and develop staff, prioritize work orders, perform inspections, and ensure timely, quality repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pool systems.

The role requires strong leadership, OSHA knowledge, and a proactive maintenance mindset, with after-hours availability and bilingual EN/ES beneficial. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three to five years of multifamily, facility, or mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
  • EPA Type III or Universal certification required.
  • Certified Pool Operator certification required.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry and pool maintenance.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe work practices.
  • Strong leadership, organization, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer and mobile technology skills.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation, evenings/weekends/holidays.
  • Trade school or military technical training is a plus.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, schedule, train, and develop the property’s maintenance team.
  • Assign and prioritize service requests, make-readies, inspections, and preventive maintenance projects.
  • Ensure service requests and apartments are completed correctly and on time.
  • Inspect apartments, buildings, grounds, amenities, and mechanical systems regularly.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, water heaters, pool equipment, and other property systems.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, service records, inspection logs, and equipment documentation.
  • Manage the maintenance team’s on-call schedule and respond to after-hours emergencies.
  • Coordinate with approved vendors and contractors and monitor completed work.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Keep maintenance shops and work areas clean, organized, and secure.
  • Ensure employees follow OSHA requirements and company policies.
  • Communicate maintenance concerns and project updates to the Property Manager.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three to five years of multifamily, facility, or mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred.
  • EPA Type III or Universal certification required.
  • Certified Pool Operator certification required.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and pool maintenance.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe work practices.
  • Strong leadership, organization, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Basic computer and mobile technology skills.
  • Ability to participate in the on‑call rotation and respond to emergencies during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
