Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Department: Maintenance

Location: Tides Folly Beach

Reports To: Chief Engineer

Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor manages the Maintenance team, performs diagnostic troubleshooting on hotel equipment, monitors repair quality, and identifies building repair issues.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Allocate workload and supervise maintenance staff.
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders as needed.
• Oversee electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Plan and supervise repair and installation activities.
• Maintain maintenance logs and report daily activities.
• Ensure buildings and facilities are fit for purpose and provide proactive support.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversees Maintenance Technicians.

Job Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience.
• Experience: 2-3 years in maintenance; proven supervisory experience; strong technical knowledge of building systems; understanding of safety practices and budgeting; leadership skills.

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to report and track activities.
• Planning maintenance operations.

Working Conditions
