Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible leading a team and identifying areas for improvement while ensuring necessary utilities are working correctly and possess strong organizational skills in order to keep track of multiple projects at once. The ideal person will be constantly assessing the systems in place to ensure that they are both safe and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnostic and Root Cause analysis of tools
- Troubleshooting Robotics, PLC programs
- Read and analyze schematics/blueprints
- Oversight of all hydraulic and pneumatic systems in plant
- Ensure all Electrical and Electronic systems run properly
- Establish preventative and predictable Maintenance Process
- Safety and Environmental Process oversight
- Adhere to OSHA standards, regulatory and codes
- Maintain Business Operating System including Work Orders via SAP
- Prepare and present reports/graphs to demonstrate maintenance required and continues improvement
- Responsible for all maintenance purchasing functions, including parts crib
- Maintains cost control measures
- Lead team on new program launches and vendor plant visits
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university with a minimum 2+ years of related experience within the automotive manufacturing industry focusing on maintaining a very large campus, equipment, machinery and personnel
- 1+ years supervisory experience with heavy machinery, production lines or related fields
- Strong understanding in the implementation and requirements of procedures such as Schematics, PLC’s etc.
- Working knowledge of SPC, DOE, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, Control Plans, and measurement techniques desirable.
- Strong leadership skills. Able to lead teams, make key decisions and make clear progress forward on assignments.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP.
- Working with the Hourly Bargaining Union and the Salary Bargaining Union in a cohesive manner.
- ARC Flash and LOTO Program/trained
- All PPE requirements for self and all employees a top priority.
- Knowledge in IATF16949 Audits and ISO14001 Audits and processes.
- Lean Six Sigma and Black Belt certification desirable
- Experience in high volume medium to large campus
- Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
- High degree of verbal communication
