Job summary

Treemont Healthcare in Dallas is seeking a dependable Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure the facility stays safe, compliant, and operational.

You will hire, train, and supervise staff, manage preventive maintenance, coordinate with contractors, monitor budgets, and drive safety programs across HVAC, boilers, water systems, and generators.

This is a full-time onsite role with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Facility maintenance experience in healthcare or long-term care environments preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, water systems and emergency systems required.
• Ability to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Experience with supply ordering and departmental budgeting a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance staff.
• Promote safety and compliance: conduct fire system inspections and coordinate monthly drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance: develop and implement maintenance programs.
• Maintain equipment: inspect, service HVAC, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, generators.
• Manage supplies and budgets: order supplies within budget guidelines.
• Supervise contractors: coordinate external work and ensure quality.
• Maintain standards: ensure safety, operation, and regulatory compliance.
• Train staff on procedures and safety.
• Coordinate schedules: align staffing with census and labor budgets.

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team! In this role, you will lead maintenance operations to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant. Success in this position requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Your Impact as a Maintenance Supervisor

In this role, you will:

• Lead Maintenance Operations: Hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members

• Promote Safety & Compliance: Conduct and document fire system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills

• Oversee Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program

• Maintain Equipment: Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators

• Manage Supplies & Budget: Order maintenance supplies and equipment while adhering to budget guidelines

• Supervise Contractors: Oversee and coordinate work by external contractors

• Maintain Standards: Ensure the facility and its equipment are safe, operational, and compliant with all regulations

• Train Staff: Provide job-specific training and promote adherence to safety procedures

• Coordinate Schedules: Plan department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets
