Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead facility maintenance operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and reliability of HVAC, boiler, water, and other critical systems. You will recruit, train, and supervise a maintenance team while managing supplies and coordinating contractors.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage preventive maintenance programs and budgets in a healthcare/long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Facility maintenance experience required (healthcare or long-term care preferred).
• Understands HVAC, boiler, water, and emergency systems.
• Able to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills.
• Can manage supply ordering and departmental budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members.
• Promote Safety & Compliance: conduct and document fire system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills.
• Oversee Preventive Maintenance: develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain Equipment: inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage Supplies & Budget: order maintenance supplies and equipment within budget guidelines.
• Supervise Contractors: oversee and coordinate work by external contractors.
• Maintain Standards: ensure facility and equipment are safe, operational, and compliant with regulations.
• Train Staff: provide job-specific training and promote safety procedures adherence.
• Coordinate Schedules: plan staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team! In this role, you will lead maintenance operations to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant. Success in this position requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Your Impact as a Maintenance Supervisor

In this role, you will:
