Job summary

Cedar Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations, ensuring a safe, functional, and compliant facility for residents and staff.

You will hire, train, and supervise the maintenance team, implement a preventive maintenance program, oversee HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, generators, and equipment, coordinate contractors, manage supplies and budget, and uphold safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Facility maintenance experience in healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• HVAC, boiler, water, and emergency systems knowledge.
• Ability to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage supply ordering and departmental budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Operations: Hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members.
• Promote Safety & Compliance: Conduct and document fire system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills.
• Oversee Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain Equipment: Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage Supplies & Budget: Order maintenance supplies and equipment while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Supervise Contractors: Oversee and coordinate work by external contractors.
• Maintain Standards: Ensure the facility and its equipment are safe, operational, and compliant with all regulations.
• Train Staff: Provide job-specific training and promote adherence to safety procedures.
• Coordinate Schedules: Plan department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team! In this role, you will lead maintenance operations to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant.
