Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. (Judge Direct Placement) seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for the Syracuse, NY area. This first‑shift role runs 8am-5pm with some flexibility to start.

You will oversee daily maintenance, preventive work, and changeovers; coordinate across shifts; support plant electrical systems and PLC programs; and partner with Production to maximize uptime and safety. Ideal candidates have 5-8 years in an industrial environment with supervisory leadership and knowledge of hydraulics,

Qualifications

• 5-8 years experience in industrial environment with supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, high-speed packing equipment, plant electrical systems, and conveyor systems.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs & software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, changeovers, and safety initiatives.
• Manage and prioritize maintenance activities across all three shifts to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Provide technical support for plant infrastructure, maintenance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Production teams to develop and execute daily and weekly schedules that maximize productivity.
• Support management of plant electrical systems and PLC programs to maintain equipment reliability.
• Assist with plant safety programs, including Arc Flash compliance and related safety initiatives.
